WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 4, 2022

Kelsey Bennett

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. Kelsey, an even-par round for you out there today, 5-under total. Can you assess that for us?

KELSEY BENNETT: Yeah, it was a bit of struggle today, couldn't roll the rock unfortunately.

But there's another two rounds to go. So hopefully I can get them dropping.

Q. When you know just what you can do out there on this course, does that make today's round a bit frustrating?

KELSEY BENNETT: Most definitely. I had a few opportunities, and they just weren't going in. There's not much you can do, just stick to your process.

Q. Despite that, still well in the mix here at the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific. Feeling confident heading into the weekend?

KELSEY BENNETT: Yeah, I'll do a bit of practice this afternoon and get that feel going again. Hopefully it will go okay.

Q. Talk to us about the highlights of the day. There surely were some out there.

KELSEY BENNETT: Yeah, I made a couple birdies early on, which was good. It was great to see the girls rolling them in there. So it's truly good.

Q. You're obviously playing in a really great group with Jiyoo and Mizuki going quite low. Is it fun to play in an atmosphere like that?

KELSEY BENNETT: Yeah, most definitely. The girls are really nice. When people are playing good golf around here, it usually makes you play better as well.
