LPGA International Busan

Quick Quotes

Q. Sung Hyun Park, really nice start to your work here in Korea. How good does it feel to get a good round under your belt?

SUNG HYUN PARK: Of course, there were parts of the game that I could have done better but I think overall I was hitting very well and I was putting very well. So I have higher expectations for the next three days.

Q. Is Oak Valley a place that you've played at before, and if not, what did you see out there that you liked today?

SUNG HYUN PARK: So I've never played here before. So I came last year and I played once, and then this week I practiced a lot. I think, first of all, the course is really beautiful. I love how it's laid out. I have to say, though, the green is really difficult. So that's proving to be a struggle.

Q. And just being back home, or playing golf in front of your home country, all your fans, how much does that help you when you're out on the golf course? Does it give you extra energy or an extra boost?

SUNG HYUN PARK: I'm sure it's the same for all the players. I'm sure they feel more at ease when they are playing in their own country, so that goes the same for me, and I have my fans cheering me on. I think that really helps in boosting my energy and I'm actually very grateful.
