Q. Last tournament of the season.

HYO JOON JANG: Last tournament.

Q. Currently No. 11. What's going on in your mind right now and how are you prepping for this tournament?

HYO JOON JANG: A lot of emotional stuff. For sure nervous. Exciting that I'm still in like 11th place and have an opportunity to get inside top 10 for last tournament.

But also I will try to not take care of extra stuff because, you know, it's get more nervous and more pressure. So I'm just trying avoid it and focus on myself.

Q. Yeah. And is your mom going to be caddieing for you this week?

HYO JOON JANG: No. Actually I have a caddie which he also did for last tournament, so it'll be more consistency.

Q. Familiarity.

HYO JOON JANG: Yeah.

Q. That's great. So how does your mom help support and you just encourage you and have a great environment as well outside of the golf course?

HYO JOON JANG: The biggest thing is she can rent the car for me because I'm 19, and she can also book hotel for me, so it's a big thing.

And most biggest thing is the food. She makes the food, Korean food. And, yeah, that's the most biggest thing that she's been helping me.

Q. Yeah, and so that helps you focus more on golf.

HYO JOON JANG: Yes.

Q. You don't to have worry about the other factors. For tomorrow essentially, what the mindset and how are you going to take it one step at a time? What's the Joon remedy of playing good golf?

HYO JOON JANG: I'll be more like four days tournament, so I will just try to stay low and take the chance if it's comes. If it's not, I will just, you know, try to not make big mistakes, because the chance will come at the end for sure.

So I will just wait until that and I'll enjoy it.

Q. Yeah. And of course with the possibility of jumping into the top 10.

HYO JOON JANG: Uh-huh.

Q. How do you keep yourself calm? Like are there any superstitious that you have or little things that help you just breathe?

HYO JOON JANG: Oh, wow. I'm obviously human, so it's going to keep coming my mind that I want to be in top 10.

But I will just keep think of my farther goal and it's not really about this one tournament, you know. Even though if I don't get top 10 I still have Q-Series and I still have a chance.

So I will just enjoy it and then try my best each shot.

Q. Love it. Is this your rookie year?

HYO JOON JANG: Yes, it is.

Q. Oh, my gosh. So this being your rookie season...

HYO JOON JANG: Yes.

Q. What were some highlights that you can remember of just the season?

HYO JOON JANG: Highlights, you mean in the tournament, right?

Q. Yeah. Like the whole Epson Tour season, experiencing all the travel...

HYO JOON JANG: I think it's more likely that I drove Florida to California when my mom wasn't here. I had to do it. So I drove 75 hour for three weeks because I couldn't rent a car and I didn't know really much people around me here. I think that's the highlight thing and I think that that's making me more stronger now.

Q. Yeah. How does it feel to have also other Korean players and just like a whole different nationalities on the season?

HYO JOON JANG: That's amazing because it's very rarely to see that, in Korea also, and it's very much different kind of people, different kind of course.

This whole thing is always new to me, which is -- it's very amazing and it's also very nice, like things to do.
