ALFRED DUNHILL LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP

October 1, 2022

Niklas Norgaard Moller

St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland

Quick Quotes

Q. How would you assess your day's play?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: Had a lot of birdie chances. Really couldn't find the pins on the greens. Playing a lot of them short. It was crazy because yesterday when it was Armageddon.

Today felt easy. Even though you have strong winds at Carnoustie, we had no wind yesterday, it would have felt very tough today.

It's all about perspective, and I think I played pretty all right. Just couldn't really find the pins on the greens.

Q. How difficult when you have a day like yesterday and you have a day like today where it's more normal golf weather?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: I think there's a little bit with the rhythm in the swing because yesterday you didn't know what you were doing. You were just trying to just find a place, and then swing was maybe a little bit messed up. Just try to find some rhythm today. But you know, with this weather compared to yesterday, I actually felt like it was a lot easier today.

Q. How much how enjoyed the week so far?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: Very much. So I got into the tournament Sunday night. I've just fully enjoyed it and I felt very comfortable out there. I haven't really been nervous.

I've just been excited to be here and just trying to, I was talking to my caddie beginning of the week, playing on these courses, a championship on these courses, many people would give their left arm to do that. Just soak it all in, and I think I've been doing that so far very well.

Q. You're in the mix. How much are you looking forward to tomorrow at St Andrews?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: Very much so. I haven't been to St Andrews before yesterday. It's a very special place, and playing the final round in a tournament on a course like that, I'm very, very excited.

Q. What makes St Andrews so special?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: It's a sacred place, it's a bit holy. Try not to do too much wrong there. Having seen that event on the TV so many times, where golf was invented, it's just a cool atmosphere, especially it's hard to put into words.
