Q. Lexi, appears to me this golf course is quite tough. (Indiscernible.)

LEXI THOMPSON: First off, just finding the fairway. I think we got pretty lucky with the wave that we were on. There was a lot of the wind earlier yesterday and kind of died down later on in the day, so got lucky with that.

Course is in great shape. It just maybe requires a few more numbers and landing into the greens and planning for the bounce-out on the fairways and into the greens as well.

Q. There has been lower scores out there today. Two more rounds to go. Any adjustments you might make with the game plan going forward?

LEXI THOMPSON: Just get a good night's sleep. I didn't sleep too good last night with the quick turnaround.

No, just same mindset going into the weekend. Really just focusing one shot at a time and focusing on the things that I've been working on in my game and see where that takes me.

Q. And so we talked yesterday about having all your fans out there on the golf course.

LEXI THOMPSON: Uh-huh.

Q. There was a young lady that was out there following you today.

LEXI THOMPSON: Nora.

Q. You brought her inside the ropes. What went on between you two out there?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, Nora, she's right there. She's just so cute. On her shirt she said, my dream is to be inside the ropes.

So pretty sure that probably meant she wants to play one day out here, but I was like, let's just bring you on in. Got a nice little chat with her and she's like, yeah, won all these tournaments and everything. I'm like, all right, making me look bad out here.

But she was so cute. The fans make the game. We want to see that little kids out here supporting us and just growing the game.

Q. One final question: Brother on the bag. What was the best piece of advice he gave you today?

LEXI THOMPSON: Today? I don't know about today. I'm so grateful to have him out there on the bag. You know, we have a great relationship with each other and he's obviously a really good player as well.

So we feed well with each other. It's just nice to have I guess family by my side out there.
