Q. Give us a sense of how bad those conditions were.

EDDIE PEPPERELL: Definitely I think the worst ever. Yeah, I don't think we've ever played in conditions as difficult as that, wind and rain, the combination of the two, for as long as it lasted. It was just brutal.

Q. And saying that, how good is a 74?

EDDIE PEPPERELL: I putted terribly today. So I mean, good that I had a hole-in-one because there was no way else of getting the ball in the hole. I think I holed one decent putt for par and other than that I just couldn't get it in the hole.

Frustrating because I hit some really good iron shots and all that stuff, and I actually hit the ball pretty well off the tee by and large in obviously very difficult conditions. So I could have been certainly a few shots better.

But equally, there are going to be guys out there that shoot 6-over par ask probably play themselves out of the event, which I may not have done.

Q. Talk us through the hole-in-one?

EDDIE PEPPERELL: It was just a good shot. It was a 6-iron, just trying to hold it up against a little bit of a right-to-left wind and pitched online and just rolled down there, fed in. It was a good shot. Not much else to say, really. These conditions, you declaration them and run.
