Quick Quotes

Q. Danielle, when you look back to four months ago to today, take us through those emotions.

DANIELLE KANG: It's emotional. I'm just really proud that I'm even here. So obviously I wanted to win, but these are like tears of joy.

Q. Tears of joy. When you chipped in on 18, take us through that, because those are tears of joy.

DANIELLE KANG: I told my caddie that I wanted -- my whole goal today was to finish at 17-under. I told him I could chip that in because he didn't want me to be to be long. Honestly, it's been hell.

To be here and...

Q. This is a special place for you. So many friends and family. I know it's tough, but where does it take you for the rest of the season now?

DANIELLE KANG: It's still going to be a process. It's a struggle almost -- sometimes in the morning, but I came out here to do something that I love, and I'm just so happy for my team that somehow got me back playing this year.

I mean, there was part of me that I didn't think I would ever play again or contend, but here I am. I'm not that far off and I'm happy about that.

Q. You should be. Should be proud of yourself. Thanks for spending time on us.

DANIELLE KANG: I don't think I've ever cried by losing.

Q. That's okay. You did great.
