Ryann O'Toole

Megan Khang

Rogers, Arkansas, USA

Pinnacle Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. We all know this golf course, you got to get off to a fast start. Ryann, you had six in a row to start. What was going through your head when you hit that sixth birdie in a row?

RYANN O'TOOLE: Literally just trying to see how many I could get. Mikey asked me how many birdies I've had in a row and I said, to be honest, I don't know, five, six. So we'll see how many I can get right now.

Q. What happened going down the 7th hole? Was it like, oh, dear, what am I up to?

RYANN O'TOOLE: No, not at all. I just kept basically hitting the shots, giving myself an opportunity. I was rolling it well, so I was just rolling with it.

Q. Megan, the pair of you combined would've been 12-under par. When Ryann slowed down you really picked up the pace. What went through your head when you started to make those birdies?

MEGAN KHANG: Definitely, I mean, obviously Ryann was playing well during the round, and birdies are out there, especially on this kind of golf course.

Jack and I just kept it light out there, had some fun, and we said, there is nine more holes. Let's get after it.

Q. Do you feed off somebody like Ryann when you're out there?

MEGAN KHANG: I think everyone kind of does. I feel like most people, kind of if your group is playing well, you try to play well and keep up. We kept doing that back and forth.
