THE MODERATOR: Some questions in English.

Francisco, not everybody gets to play Davis Cup, and not everybody gets to play the first match in this kind of atmosphere. How was it for you, your debut at Davis Cup?

FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO: Well, it was amazing. I think we played a really good match. I play a high level. It was my first match at Davis Cup.

I was a bit nervous before stepping into the court, but I knew deep inside that I was going to play well. I like this kind of stadium, these kind of matches. I play tennis to play these kind of matches, so I was ready to be here. Yeah, I was going to give everything.

I think it was a really close match. I had some chances in the first set. Second also. But I think he played really good. He served very well in the tough moments.

Yeah, it was a few points that decide the match.

THE MODERATOR: How did you receive the news from the captain that you were playing today? What was your reaction at that moment?

FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO: I think he told me on Wednesday that I was going to play. I didn't know at the beginning if I was going to play with Diego or with Seb, but I was 100% for sure that I was going to play.

On Wednesday I started practicing for Jannik or Matteo. I was prepared, to be honest.
