Q. Here with Leona Maguire. Leona, couple birdies on the card today to keep yourself in contention. Just take me through what was working so well for you on day two.

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, hit the ball a lot nicer today, gave myself lots of chances, and overall pretty happy.

Could have holed a few more putts coming in, but 3-under round Massareene, I'm pretty happy with that.

Q. We've seen some lower scores on the front nine holes, which was your back nine today. Where do you think you fare in those front nine holes? As you said, you were looking for a couple more putts to drop.

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, they're tricky. You don't really have to do a whole lot wrong around here. It's tighter than Galgorm off the tee, so gave myself a few nice chances.

Had a nice chance on 3, 4, 5, 7. Just didn't convert those.

Overall pretty solid day.

Q. Any interesting shot like yesterday? That hybrid from the bunker is still one think a lot of people are reeling about.

LEONA MAGUIRE: No, I mean, I hit a nice 9-wood on 6-over the trees sort of onto the green; nearly made eagle there.

So that's probably the shot of the day for me today.

Q. The crowds, family out here. Performing this well in front of them, how much does that help your confidence moving forward into the weekend?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, I mean, I think there was more people today than yesterday, and so hopefully every day will keep getting a few more and a few more.

Yeah, nice to have the home support this week.

Q. What are you looking forward to getting back to Galgorm? What are you hoping to focus on to get even further up there?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, I mean, I think if I hit it the way I hit it today, should be in good shape heading to Galgorm. Yeah, just try and go low over the weekend.
