Q. Take us through the round, tough winds, everything changing again.

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, it's one of those days that whenever you probably don't are in sync or have the perfect tempo, the wind can take the ball everywhere. I made a couple bad swings. I was able to get up-and-down a couple times, but overall I just feel that probably didn't swing it as good as yesterday but happy with the overall result -- able to stay up there and keep fighting.

Q. And it looks like the things we were talking yesterday, keeping the attitude, the pace, the concentration is something you were able to do today?

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, I felt that today I felt more -- probably a little more rushed. I was not in sync with my tempo and my swing.

But yeah, I feel that you've got to be very, very disciplined in this kind of golf course. You can't take any shortcuts. I pulled my driver just a tiny bit, and the wind took it into the bunker, a pot bunker, and I ended up making bogey on a par 5 and that's like very frustrating.

But yeah, just got to keep learning. You have to really take more caution -- cushion into the pot bunkers and being able not to -- just avoid them.

Q. With the conditions and the wind and getting probably stronger this afternoon, 2-under is a really good position?

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, I feel the overall result is still there. I still we hit amazing shots, not too many in a row, but lots of positives out there.
