AIG WOMEN'S OPEN

August 4, 2022

In Gee Chun

Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland, UK

Mixed Zone

Q. How difficult was it out there?

IN GEE CHUN: During the warm up, we got like really bad weather. Like it was heavy rain and like windy out there, so I thought it was going to be really hard to play. But luckily we had good weather out there and then I played with Jessica and Georgia Hall, and they played good. So they are good partners and really enjoyed to play with them, was how I made a good score. It's really good to see Jessica and Georgia had a good score, too.

Q. What was the most difficult thing in the round? Was the wind or the greens?

IN GEE CHUN: Growing up, I don't have much experience with links, never had any links with this much wind. It was quite difficult.

But last seven years, I played on the LPGA Tour, so now I can say I have a little bit experience. It was just fun to play like from the links course, I really enjoyed it.

Q. There are a lot fans in Britain. Have you seen them since you returned?

IN GEE CHUN: I always had like a lot of cheers from British fans. I feel a little bit like sorry to them because I don't have any like time to play in Britain but I always love to see them again like every year. I really appreciate their coming to the course and watch my game, they help a lot. I want to say thanks to them.

Q. And they are here this week?

IN GEE CHUN: Yeah, I saw them during the last week, too.
