TRUST GOLF WOMEN'S SCOTTISH OPEN

July 31, 2022

Wichanee Meechai

Troon, Scotland, UK

Dundonald Links

Quick Quotes

Q. Well-played and you're the leading Thai in the field and finish as it stands 8th place in the top 10. How does that feel?

WICHANEE MEECHAI: Feels so great and lucky that I got an invite to this event, and then yeah, thank God.

Q. What do you think was working so well for you out on the links?

WICHANEE MEECHAI: I don't know. I have no expectation and I just have a lot of confidence on my shot. So yeah, I think it's worked.

Q. So do you think this week has really exceeded your expectations? What's been your favourite thing about the whole week?

WICHANEE MEECHAI: Just have fun. I hit a lot of great shots, and then just, you know, when you hit a great shot, you collect more confidence. I think I love that.

Q. And making the top three qualifying spots for AIG, how does that feel, and how are you going to move into the rest of the season? Does this give you some momentum?

WICHANEE MEECHAI: Yes, I hope I will do great and next week, too. Just be patient and then make a lot of birdies.

Q. Lastly, you've had some great home support in Thailand. Is there any messages to the fans that you would like to say or to Dr. Prin Singhanart?

WICHANEE MEECHAI: Thank you so much for giving me a chance to play here, and all the Thai girls on the Tour. Thank you.
