Q: Another great round today. How was it out there today? A bit windier?

HYO JOO KIM: The weather was really good today when it rained a lot yesterday. But I think I played with a good rhythm today and finished with a good score.

Q: You've been playing well thus far. What is it about links golf that you like?

HYO JOO KIM: Honestly, Korean players don’t have a lot of experience playing in links courses, but through the LPGA we’ve been playing on links courses every year, so I guess you can say I’ve gotten more familiar with them. Initially, I had a more difficult image of the links courses than a good image, but now that I’m more used to it, I can use the wind to my advantage and it’s been better.

Q: How have you managed to adjust coming here from Evian?

HYO JOO KIM: The weather’s a lot different today and the grass is different too. I get cold pretty easily, but it was really warm today, so I was able to play with a good rhythm and finished with a good score. Hoping to take finish off with a good energy this week and also continue to next week too.

Q: It's so sunny out today. Very un-Scottish. How much did you enjoy that today?

HYO JOO KIM: I didn’t know I’d see the sun today, but feels good to see some sunlight. You get a little bit down when the weather’s down too but feels good to see the sun out today.
