Quick Quotes

Q. Team Jelly. Round of 60 today. What was clicking for you guys?

JESSICA KORDA: She played amazing. Made so many putts. For birdie and for eagle. I was kind of just making pars and coming in for reads. (Laughing).

Q. Nelly, 9-under on your own ball. I know you had a few months that you took away from the game to recover from the injury in your left arm, but with the round like this, how much confidence does that give you going into two majors in the next three weeks?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, it's really nice. It's nice to know that I can still shoot that low and to make some clutch putts, which was really nice. It was a lot of fun. We had fun this week, and hopefully I can carry it into the next couple of weeks as well.

Q. Will you guys get a chance to rest at all or are you heading straight to France?

JESSICA KORDA: We're heading straight to France. Yep, no breaks for us. Seven weeks on the road starting this week. (Indiscernible).

NELLY KORDA: At least I have my roommates.

Q. More aggressive on just about everything. You ladies are obviously big fans here of Michigan. How does it feel to be here near the crowds and just do what you do?

JESSICA KORDA: It's awesome. I mean, we always said we loved playing in these smaller towns because the hometown just really does get behind it, and it's just really, really fun.

NELLY KORDA: The majority of our Michigan events they always get a really good crowd, so we always love coming here. I think we have like two or three events here in Michigan, so, yeah, they're always really well-supported and we really enjoy coming here.

Q. I'm very envious because you guys are sisters and you play golf together. How did you do that growing up being competitive when you are all sisters?

JESSICA KORDA: We didn't do it growing up. I'm five years older than her, so we were always missing each other in the age groups. Yeah, we kind of really just started doing it here.

Q. Annika and Madelene talked a few minutes ago. I asked them about the Solheim Cup. I know that's not the best memory from last year, but Annika kind of had a little tweak in her eye and said she might have a little something up her sleeve for that. Can she still make a difference at this point?

JESSICA KORDA: That's Team Europe. We're team USA, two different teams. We're rooting for us. We honestly don't know.

NELLY KORDA: Good luck, Annika.
