Quick Quotes

Q. Lead going into tomorrow, how do you feel about it?

ADRIAN MERONK: I'm quite excited. Just happy with my score so far. Played pretty solid again today. And, yeah, can't wait for tomorrow for sure.

Q. You've been in this position before. You've been in contention. What have you learned in your previous experience?

ADRIAN MERONK: Just stay patient and, you know, try not to get ahead of myself. Play my strategy, focus on my targets, and I hope that will be enough.

Q. We hear that golf is often trying to stay patient. Do you have any techniques to help you with that?

ADRIAN MERONK: Just to stick down, stick to my routine, focus on breathing, and I've been pretty good. I've been working on my commitment for every shot last couple of weeks, and seems like it's working pretty well this week. So I'll just keep doing that, and, yeah, we'll see what happens.

Q. And what kind of player are you? Do you like to look at the leaderboards throughout your round?

ADRIAN MERONK: To be honest, depends. Depends. I just -- I just let it go. I'm not trying to force myself not to look at the leaderboard. But if I have a look and I see the score, it's fine as well. I try to just be neutral, I would say.

Q. Third round 68 gives you the lead. What was the more challenging thing today, was it the conditions outside or just the emotions of being in contention?

ADRIAN MERONK: To be honest, yeah, the conditions were quite tough. Our first eight holes I would say was just -- the rain was on and off. It was actually raining pretty hard for three holes. So that was quite challenging.

But, yeah, but, you know, being in contention, seeing all these people, it's quite exciting.

Q. You've been close a number of times this year. What do you think you need to do to get across that line?

ADRIAN MERONK: Well, I'm not going to try to force anything. I just stick to my strategy, just trust my routine, trust my targets. And that's all I can do, to be honest, just go as slow as possible, and we will see at the end if it's enough.

Q. What will be the most important thing tomorrow, what element of your game will be key?

ADRIAN MERONK: To be honest, all of it. But probably just keeping the ball in the right places. But a couple of pins will be tricky tomorrow. So, so far we did a good job hitting in good places, good spots. So I'll just keep that strategy.
