THE MODERATOR: Mark Hensby, 2-under 69. Mark, an overall really impressive week. Kind of sum it up for us.

MARK HENSBY: Tiring. It got really tiring towards the end. I think it's difficult when you know you're not going to have a chance to win, but you're not making any -- you know, play as aggressive as you can without being stupid.

Yeah, long week. Long week.

Q. What can you say about the golf course here and how it kind of proved up to the test?

MARK HENSBY: It's a test. For me it didn't feel like it was a really long golf course, but as you're well aware, as everybody's watching, if you miss it in the wrong spot it's just not good.

The greens, I found, were really fast the second day. Third day, yesterday, not as fast. Today they were kind of firm and fast. Yeah, it's just a tricky golf course.

Q. What does the Senior Open mean to you this week and to your fellow competitors?

MARK HENSBY: Well, I can't speak for them. For me it's just my second one. I think any time you play a USGA event it's going to be a mental test more than a physical test. I mean, that's about all I can say, yeah.

Q. A couple questions. First of all, you had six birdies today on what most consider a U.S. Open style course. How did you do that?

MARK HENSBY: I hit it close, and I drove it particularly well most of the day, other than two drives in a row. So I think if you drive it well here you can make some birdies because the pins, even though they're tough, if you've got shorter clubs in -- for me, I had a lot of wedges in. I can get it close enough.

Q. You had to qualify to play in this championship, and now pretty much assured you'll be exempt with top ten and ties making next year's field. Talk about that accomplishment.

MARK HENSBY: That's always -- I'm not sure I'm going to play much golf after this year, so if I do, obviously it's there. Yeah, we'll see.
