TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP

June 26, 2022

J.T. Poston

Cromwell, Connecticut, USA

TPC River Highlands

Quick Quotes

Q. How would you characterize the day?

J.T. POSTON: Man, so solid. It's nice to post a number in the clubhouse and I don't think it will be good enough, but it's nice to put myself in that position and bogey-free on Sunday is always good.

Q. What was working so well for you today in your game?

J.T. POSTON: All around I would say it was real solid. I putted well, drove it well, hit my irons good. But I would say the iron game was kind of similar to the first day, where I really hit a lot of good iron shots. For the most part I was pin high. Gave myself a lot of pretty good looks.

Q. How much confidence does this, is this going to give you going forward for the rest of the year?

J.T. POSTON: A bunch. I've had some good week, some good finishes since April at Hilton Head and trying to just build that sort of momentum and carry it into the playoffs. I feel like in years past I kind of fizzled out towards the end of the year and not played my best and hopefully this is a different year and can play better at the end of the year.

Q. Overall pretty happy with your week here?

J.T. POSTON: Yeah, I mean my record here hasn't been that great. I don't think I've ever made a cut here. So for it to be my first cut made here it's nice to have a great finish and get myself in contention.
