WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

June 21, 2022

Grace Crawford

Hunstanton, England, United Kingdom

Quick Quotes

Q. Grace, is that a case of job done?

GRACE CRAWFORD: Yes, job done for the now, yes.

Q. Is there a little bit of pressure when it comes to that, when you're just trying to think about the 64 and getting through?

GRACE CRAWFORD: I mean, that's the first step definitely. I think it's two separate competitions, so I've completed the first challenge, so on to the next one. Pleased.

Q. How did you find it out there?

GRACE CRAWFORD: Interesting, definitely. It's a really nice course. Just it plays totally different when the wind is the opposite direction for sure.

Q. Did change direction from what was yesterday?

GRACE CRAWFORD: It has for me I think. But yeah, a few par 5s which helped.

Q. Used to the sunshine?

GRACE CRAWFORD: Yeah, it's getting quite hot. It's nice the fact that we can wear shorts and skirts, definitely, not the normal Scottish weather here. So it's nice.

Q. You had a great win a few weeks back. What would it be like to knock off another R&A title?

GRACE CRAWFORD: Words couldn't describe that. It's definitely the biggest competition like I play in. So it's a dream, definitely. So we'll see. We'll see hopefully. Fingers crossed, it would be good.
