Q. First-ever LIV winner, you scrambled all woke. How are you feeling right now?

CHARL SCHWARTZEL: Yeah, honestly relieved. It was tough finishing there. I made a bad mistake on 12 which put me on the back foot, and I needed to just stay calm and try and get this thing in the house. I had it in my hands and made it a bit more difficult than it should have been but I'm just proud of how I hung in. Yeah, it's a great feeling.

Q. You had two of your teammates chasing you down all day, you started the day with a very comfortable lead and coming down the stretch, it got tight. What was going through your mind?

CHARL SCHWARTZEL: Yeah, Hennie played fantastic golf. 25 years old, he's got a bright future. He's playing real good. And you know, I'm proud of him. Proud of my teammates. This is an historic moment. Like you said, first LIV League tournament, and man, it's awesome.

Q. First event on the LIV calendar in the books. What are your thoughts of the first one?

CHARL SCHWARTZEL: The guys put up an amazing show. You know, what they have done was way beyond our expectations. The entertainment, the way they treat everybody, and the amount of money they put up for us, it's out of this world.

Q. Congratulations, your team is our first-time LIV team winners. How are you feeling right now?

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: I'm just glad he didn't make birdie on 18, so my score counted at least. I'm so proud of him. They played unbelievable. Branden shot 5-under today, in these conditions, is some score. Charl, he had such a good start. It's so much fun. We had a lot of fun this week.
