Quick Quotes

Q. 2-under 68 today. Just a few comments kind of highlights about the round and how you're feeling.

WYNDHAM CLARK: I got off to a little bit of a slow start. But I was nervous, a lot of people out here, hadn't been in contention in a little while. But then I calmed down and I really felt good about my game.

Just unfortunate that stretch, 9 and 10 I didn't play very well. I think that's where a lot of guys were making up shots.

But I really rallied well on the next one, 11, made an eagle, and I played my last eight holes 3-under.

So a lot of positives, I'm only two shots back and I like my chances for tomorrow.

Q. You mentioned you haven't felt like you've been in contention lately, but you've been so steady in contention all week long. Is there something that you felt good about coming in the week either mentally or part of your game that you felt has really come around?

WYNDHAM CLARK: I've been grinding out cuts and there's a lot of nerves in doing that. So I've had a lot of nerves and I've had a lot of great shots under pressure to grind out some cuts. Just hadn't done it on the weekend yet.

So my game feels great, I feel really comfortable out there. I would like to play the par-5s just a little bit better and some of the scoring holes a little bit better. But other than that I like where my game's at.
