Quick Quotes

Q. Hye-Jin Choi, 1-under 70. Talk us through your round today.

HYE-JIN CHOI: Today I'm very satisfied with my game, and I think I made some mistakes in the middle, but I think that I ended up quite well.

Q. Obviously you came up just short, but what are some of your main takeaways this week?

HYE-JIN CHOI: I think I learned a lot. There are a lot of takeaways. This course was quite different than others, and the settings were different. So I make a mistake, it was very difficult to recover. I think I need to work on my power as well as sophistication and details.

Q. The course played a lot tougher today. You're only one of a few rounds under par. How did it feel to go under par and post a good number like that?

HYE-JIN CHOI: Well, I think that the pin location was kind of in the back, so I had a very short putting strategy, and if you miss that pin location it was very difficult.

So I think that my strategy worked, and I'm satisfied with my game today.
