THE MODERATOR: Caroline and Kiki, congrats on the win. So you advanced to the big stage of this tournament already and how close are you to the form that got you to the victory here in 2016?

CAROLINE GARCIA: It's very difficult to say. It's been awhile and I was just focused one match after another one. I think today was very solid match and we tried to find the solution. The opponent was playing some great tennis and we were definitely happy with the way we fought and the way we found solution and kept fighting.

THE MODERATOR: Kiki, do you want to add anything to what Caroline said?

KRISTINA MLADENOVIC: No, she explained it perfectly. 2016 was awhile ago but obviously we had some experiences together after that as well, especially an important one in the Fed Cup Final.

And, you know, it's been a long time since we played together doubles and also doubles in general and that we just took match by match and today was a great test because the girls played a very great match and, yeah, we are progressing into the draw.

Obviously, you know, things are starting to be interesting and we want just to continue this way and stay focused, take one at a time and hopefully we can continue to show great things.
