Q. Here with Ayaka Furue after coming in second place at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play presented by MGM Rewards. Tell me, what was happening out there? What were some of the challenges of the course today?

AYAKA FURUE: It was definitely tough conditions out there. I was having to use my brain a lot with the wind being so strong. Just not only physically draining, but mentally draining as well.

Q. For people who don't know, how hard is it for you, for anybody, to play two rounds in one day?

AYAKA FURUE: Yeah, I think it's really draining mentally, physically, especially coming into the last few holes.

You know, you're really just trying to focus as much as you can and finish strong.

Q. What are you most proud of yourself this week that you will be taking on moving forward?

AYAKA FURUE: Couple things, one being the fact that I made it all the way to the last round, the finals, is really special to me.

And then just throughout the week having fun and getting to meet new players and experience this match play was really special for me.
