Q. Here with Lilia Vu coming off a 4&3 victory over Allisen Corpuz in the round of 16. You got off the golf course early today, early yesterday, early I think on Wednesday as well. How important is that extra rest time going to be going into another round of golf today?

LILIA VU: I think it's going to be super important since there is going to be another round coming after, so -- and it gets really hot out here and this morning it wasn't as hot as it usually is.

I'm anticipating that for the afternoon.

Q. I was going to say, how great is it to have sort of an earlier start, the earliest start of the week today?

LILIA VU: I really enjoyed it. I think when we teed off it was 79 degrees. Not quite my California weather, but it was better than the past couple days.

Q. And how are you mentally and physically going to prepare for possibly 18 more holes, 18 holes of golf?

LILIA VU: Just take it one shot at a time. I think that's what did I today. I didn't feel entirely rested this morning, so I was just trying to focus on one thing at a time, not get ahead of myself.

Q. Just wanted to ask you about your success on Symetra last year, how that prepared you for the LPGA Tour, and what you're taking from that into events like this?

LILIA VU: Yeah, Symetra was great for me because there was about 20 events, and you have to be really consistent throughout the year. You can't really take three tournaments off. You have to really try and play almost every event and do your best there.

Q. And what kind of lessons do you learn from winning out there that you can translate to a bigger a stage like this?

LILIA VU: Just believing in myself. I think two years ago when I was in my slump my rookie year on LPGA, didn't really feel like I belonged. Just put a lot of pressure on myself, and now I just feel kind of free to play. Just have fun, see what I can do on the golf course.

Q. How is it to play with another young player like Allisen Corpuz out there today?

LILIA VU: It's really fun. We're pretty good friends. We played in LA couple weeks ago, so it was nice to play with her again and catch up.

Q. Was it more competitive or more friendly out there?

LILIA VU: I think definitely more friendlier than the other matches I had this week.
