Flash Quotes

Q. Talk about your round today and the up-and-down on 12.

ROBERT MACINTYRE: Yeah, so I was obviously 1-over par, but difficult at the start of the round. The wind was gusting, and yeah, you were just trying to make pars.

Dropped a shot on the par-5, and I thought, here we go, it's going to be a fight. But a good bounce-back birdie on the par-3, and yeah, I wasn't hitting it good, so I was just scrambling well. Luckily hit a lot of shots from the middle of trees.

Yeah, 1-over par is not great but it's not horrific.

Q. Do you think this course is going to feel that uncomfortable the whole time?

ROBERT MACINTYRE: Yeah, it's not easy at all. It's going to get you if you're not playing your best, and just now I'm not quite on it. But there's a score out there. You're seeing it. There's guys shooting lights out, and I can see it there, I'm just not producing the golf that I want.

Q. What are the things that are not really clicking that need to click tomorrow?

ROBERT MACINTYRE: Yeah, mainly my driving. Off the tee is normally my best strong point. Today it was terrible. You know what, to get out of there with 1-over par isn't horrific. I'm still in there. Do a good job tomorrow and we could be fighting some Sunday. But yeah, just going to do a bit of work right now and try and fix that.
