Quick Quotes

Q. Ally Ewing, fought really hard out there. Eagled 12 for the second time this week just to keep it near par. How proud are you of your fight?

ALLY EWING: Yeah, I didn't have my best stuff today by my means, but I was prepared mentally for some adversity, I was prepared for the weather.

I hit some good putts that just burned edges, but I didn't really hit anything close, but I made some great par putts. So overall, like -- you know, obviously Minjee has built a little bit of a cushion, but I look past that and know that I have a really good day ahead tomorrow.

If I play well, then still can be a really good week.

Q. How difficult was it to adjust for the conditions out there? I've heard there were a lot of skidding shots into the greens.

ALLY EWING: Yeah, it is really tricky. On top of that, the wind was in a different direction than we've seen all week. Just kind of adding that and trying to figure out exactly how far balls were pitching and skidding as you were saying.

And you know, there were some pins, like specifically 18, like you just can't mess with that false front. I hit a really good shot to 25 feet. It's just kind of what it is. The worst thing I can do on a day like today is feel like you need to push and then you end up shooting a worse score than I did today.

So I did hang in there. I mentally was really sharp. Physically obviously just a few bad swings here and there. I'll excited for tomorrow.

Q. As you head into the final day, again, you're a few back; probably too far back, but still got a good shot at it. What is the mindset? Do you go for broke or continue what you're doing?

ALLY EWING: Yeah, think what I'm doing is good enough. I mean, obviously the first two days yielded a 66 and a 67, and those could have very well been lower numbers.

So I think if I just stay the course, keep doing what I'm doing, that could produce a 62 for all I know.

So it's just kind of go out -- I don't know what the weather is supposed to be like tomorrow. Just get in and see what it is. Just stick to my process and see what we can do.
