Quick Quotes

Q. Other than the score how were things different today?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: It was more, it was not perfect golf. Yesterday was super easy, today was a little tougher. We had a lot more in between numbers, we struggled with the speed of the greens on the front. It's tough to back a 60, but I feel like I did a good job of closing the round and going out with a 69.

Q. On your back nine, final nine holes you seemed to really pick it up. What was sort of the turning point in there?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: I feel like it was No. 1. I was kind of, like I didn't capitalize the birdie on 18 and then I hit a really two quality shots, driver and an iron shot and kind of made the putt with a little more oomph than the rest of the round and that kind of gave me a little momentum and I kind of kept it going towards the end.

Q. You still end up pretty much going to be either tied for the lead or you're going to depending upon if somebody comes back and makes a late run, one back. How do you feel going into the weekend where you're standing?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Great. I mean, 15-under, I don't think I imagined being 15-under. I mean I know I'm playing good golf, but that's a great number, it's not easy, you shouldn't take it for granted and I feel like I'm doing a lot of good stuff.

Q. Do you have a little bit of extra support being a North Texas Mean Green, having played here, what kind of support have you been getting out here?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Sure. I mean I've been getting Dallas support, I've been getting Columbian support, I've been getting a lot of UNT support. So it's fun. We reach a lot of people that we are not aware of and that they come out of their way to come for you it's pretty cool. So, yeah, getting support, getting good vibes, all of that helps.

Q. Looking ahead to tomorrow, anything you want to kind of work on that shore things up after today?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Probably get some sleep, get some rest and get ready to go again.
