BETFRED BRITISH MASTERS HOSTED BY DANNY WILLETT

May 6, 2022

Rasmus Hojgaard

Sutton, Coldfield, England

The Belfry

Quick Quotes

Q. 68 followed by a 69 and looked like you were giving yourself plenty of chances out there. Give us the breakdown of today's round?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: Well, I gave myself a lot of chances. I feel like I played well today and didn't hole as many putts as I would have liked but I'm still there on the leaderboard. So I'm satisfied with it.

Q. We always marvel how far you hit the ball off the tee but your approach play is very good as well. Where do you feel your real strengths are right now as a player?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: I'd say I'm a good driver of the ball. It's always been one of my strengths. It hasn't been as good lately as I would like but it's getting there. So the last two days, I've hit a lot of fairways and good approach shots. So if I can keep up with that, that would be nice.

Q. And we don't get stats unfortunately on mental performance. There are no strokes gained for how your mind is performing. If there were stats, where do you feel you would rank in that part of the game?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: Quite low. I can improve a lot. But the last two days, I feel like I've handled myself well and just the most important thing right now is just to stay calm and to stay patient. Guys will run into trouble out here. That's going to be my focus the next two days.
