Q. All right, Anna, as you got to the 16th hole today, just wanted to know your mindset before you tee'd off there.

ANNA DAVIS: I knew that I obviously had to make something happen to make the cut. I knew that I had to be kind of aggressive going into the last few holes.

Then I made an eagle, and then after that I was like, okay, let's play a little bit more conservatively so I make the cut.

Yeah, that was kind of what was going through my mind.

Q. Take me through the eagle. What were some of the decisions you made there?

ANNA DAVIS: I think even hitting off the tee I knew I had to go for it. I went for it in two and obviously that worked out well.

Then I had that putt and I knew -- like I knew it had to go in and I made it, so that was cool.

Q. How far was the putt?

ANNA DAVIS: 40 feet.

Q. 40 feet?

ANNA DAVIS: Something like that.

Q. And birdie on the next one. I know you said you were trying to be conservative, but how did it feel to cement that?

ANNA DAVIS: It was good. I knew I had to go par, par after the eagle, so to have a birdie there, I don't know, like a cushion, that was nice to not feel as much pressure.

Q. Then just parring at the end; you make your first cut in your first LPGA event. How does it feel just being able to soak in the weekend?

ANNA DAVIS: Very cool. It was my goal to make the cut so I'm glad that I could do that. Yeah, it'll be cool to play this weekend.

Q. I was going to say, are there any goals for you, any expectations you set for yourself?

ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, it was just to make the cut and go from there.

Q. So now this is just bonus for you.

ANNA DAVIS: Yes.
