Q. Hey, Leish. A bit of a different day out there today. Run me through the day. What was good and what was bad about it?

MARC LEISHMAN: It was the story of the week really. Today I hit it reasonably well. I hit a couple of loose iron shots, which was disappointing. The problem was it was cold all week. Very frustrating week all around. Especially on the greens. I probably hit it well enough to be contending, and where am I? 16, 17 back. That's how poor it was on the greens.

Unfortunate, but we're here. We're playing Sunday. The crowds, and it's a cool place to be whether you play well or bad. Obviously, you want to play well, but yeah, a little disappointed, but try and learn something for next year. Hopefully I'm in contention.

Q. Ten times. Mate, your little, long-haired mate is playing exceptionally well. Give us a behind the scenes with him. Anything you've seen at the beginning of the week that may have stood out that why he is performing so well and why he loves this place so much?

MARC LEISHMAN: I think it's his game. You feel like if he does hit a bad shot, he doesn't have to take any risks. He can just chip out and wedge it close.

Q. Putt it in.

MARC LEISHMAN: Exactly. He conserves energy early in the week, which I try and do as well. It was funny. I was saying to my sons early in the week. They're like, how did Cam play in the practice rounds? I said, not very good, but he never really plays well in the practice rounds. He always turns it on Thursday when it matters.

I guess he conserved energy, and what is he, 6-under? Hopefully he can have it be back nine and pull it off. It would be massive for him. Yeah, we'll see what happens.

Q. Mate, for 2013 when Scotty won, that was pretty impressive, but it's about time for another Aussie, isn't it? Him or somebody?

MARC LEISHMAN: Yeah, hopefully. Hopefully Smitty can get it today. If not, hopefully it will be me next year, but we'll see. Yeah, we're working on it.
