MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 9, 2022

Adam Scott

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. After third round, Scotty, you're the first that everyone will see back in Australia when they get up. What were those conditions like?

ADAM SCOTT: It was pretty fresh out there today. It's like yesterday, but the ball's going a fair bit shorter because it's cold. So it's just making the course play as long as it possibly can at the moment.

I certainly made it look difficult. I think the pin spots are not that easy again today.

Q. Is it a bit -- everyone watching the telecast, is it about where you're going to miss it today, the best spot to miss it?

ADAM SCOTT: Yeah, but sometimes it's like missing it in the best spot is close to a lot of trouble. The bailout is terrible, and the other side is trouble also. So you've just got to hit good quality shots.

I think the guy who hits a lot of greens today will probably have the best score. Provided he's not putting from too much above the hole, but sometimes you can't avoid that out here, and you just have to do the best you can when you are above the hole.

Q. What's a good score?

ADAM SCOTT: Par. I mean, there's probably going to be a couple scores under par, but you've sell everyone par at the start, on the 1st tee, but I'd be surprised if conditions stay like this and you see in the mid-60s. I just don't -- it's very tough out there today.
