Q. How was it out there today?

RINA TATEMATSU: It was good. I had a lot of fun out there with my friends. Me, Savannah, and Ashley are in the same group tomorrow too. So that's pretty cool.

Q. What's your impressions of the course?

RINA TATEMATSU: The course condition is really, really good. There's a lot of holes that are like pretty view. So me and my coach was like wow, it's really pretty. So it was really fun out there.

Q. What was your reaction when you got the invite?

RINA TATEMATSU: I was super excited because this was one of my biggest dreams to be able to like compete in this prestigious event and play at Augusta. It is like a dream.

Q. That was two weeks ago?

RINA TATEMATSU: Yes, it was actually like a practice round a day before my first LPGA event. So it was in the morning, and I saw the text. I was like what?

Q. That's a good way to start off that event too. What's it like competing on such an enormous stage?

RINA TATEMATSU: To be able to compete with like top amateur players in the world, I mean, nothing but thankful and honored.

Q. What has your confidence been like?

RINA TATEMATSU: I would say pretty good. I just want to play my best and be the best version I can be.
