King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia
Royal Greens Golf & Country Club
Q. How are you feeling and what do you think you did different this time?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah. Mentally, I was very strong. It was tough out there. The conditions are the hardest conditions I've ever played in. I was very happy with the way I played in.
Q. What did you do differently other than any other game you've played to keep your patience?
GEORGIA HALL: I putted really well. I holed some good putts for par which is very crucial. Just really stayed patient.
Q. Obviously it's not your first time playing here in Saudi. How do you think this tournament compares?
GEORGIA HALL: (Wind noise.) It's definitely a difficult golf course today. (Wind noise).
Q. You know that it's the first time we have three Arabs in the tournament. What do you feel about this and the future for golf here in the Arab world?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah. I think it's fantastic. I met a few of the Saudi golfers last night and I had my picture with them and they were really friendly and really nice, so obviously, it's so great to see these cultures take up the game.
Q. Very well played. Everything went to plan. There were extreme conditions out there. Talk us through that.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, (wind noise) I've done the best I could and was really proud of the way I played. (Wind noise.)
Q. Made some long birdies. Hard work out there. But nevertheless it seemed like you were playing a different golf course at times. I mean, why were you really in the zone out there?
GEORGIA HALL: I'm playing really well. I'm comfortable with the game and mentally I've stayed focused (wind noise). I think good scores are out there and you never know.
Q. (Wind noise) what was your thought process on 18?
GEORGIA HALL: I tried to go for it. I had a 6-iron and I wanted to give it a go but then obviously it made it tough from there. But, yeah (wind noise).
Q. What do you expect conditions to be like tomorrow?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I would love for it to be maybe a one club wind instead of maybe five like it was today. But, yeah, we'll take what we get, but, tomorrow (wind noise).
Q. You're leading, but hard circumstances now with the wind. What do you think you did different this time?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I stayed mentally very strong. It was tough out there. The conditions are the hardest I've ever played in. So I was very happy with the way I played. Just need to take it into tomorrow.
Q. What do you think is something you did differently with your game and how did you keep your patience?
GEORGIA HALL: I putted really well, holed some good ones for par which are very crucial and just really stayed patient.
Q. Obviously it's not your first time playing here, how do you think this time is different?
GEORGIA HALL: The wind. Definitely a different golf course today. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be calmer.
