THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP

March 14, 2022

Kevin Kisner

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA

TPC Sawgrass

Quick Quotes

Q. Can you talk about how different the course is from just two days ago to now?

KEVIN KISNER: Yeah, the ball flies where it's supposed to. No, the course is in fantastic shape for all it's been through in the last five days. I think it's totally fair to play the ball down these last two rounds. Greens are still super receptive. I don't know if they're going to be able to get out and do anything to them between rounds, which I doubt, but there will be some low scores this afternoon I imagine.

Q. That being said, what's your approach to -- are you going to be more attacking knowing the wind is kind of laying down?

KEVIN KISNER: Well, you just keep playing the way you do and hopefully make a lot of putts. I've been rolling it nice in the third round for the first time all week, so hopefully -- they get marked up pretty good ought there, so trying to tap down everything takes forever, but hopefully knock in some putts and get off to a hot start and try to get in the mix going early.

Q. Were you watching the leaderboard throughout the course of the day?

KEVIN KISNER: All day, yeah.

Q. It seemed like no one really got away.

KEVIN KISNER: Yeah, I was expecting some more birdies. Obviously it was cold this morning, ball wasn't going very far, but now it's warming up and I think you're going to see the ball getting out there and guys making a lot of birdies this afternoon.
