Louis Oosthuizen

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA

TPC Sawgrass

Quick Quotes

Q. Just kind of describe the morning, getting going here and the resumption of the third round.

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: It was nice and warmer than yesterday morning, I can tell you that. No, it was fine.

Made a good putt for par on 13, which was my first hole of the day, and then made a nice long putt on 14 for birdie, and I got a little lucky on 15 with a chip-in. It was racing and hit the middle of the stick. 16, got a bit unlucky with a lie in the bunker there.

Three behind going into the last round, I have a chance of making a good score. It's exciting.

Q. Do you feel like with maybe a little bit of wind dying down today and a little bit warmer temperatures, that there could be some low scores out there this afternoon?

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: Definitely. I do think the golf course has got a good low number in them. Even though it's playing the ball down, they've done a great job with how dry the golf course actually is, and the greens are still a little bit receptive.

You can imagine that you could see a good score out there this afternoon.

Q. That being said, how do you attack this golf course this afternoon? What's kind of your mentality as you go into the final round?

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: You know, I've been making stupid mistakes in my three rounds really, missing a lot of greens on the wrong sides. I feel the game is close. It's not quite there. I just need to take those shots out of my round and see if I can give myself as many birdie putts -- I feel like I am rolling the ball nicely, so got to be a little bit more aggressive probably this afternoon, but also want to just give myself chances.

Q. You've played a little bit with Anirban. Are you surprised to see him leading?

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: No, he's a great player. He's obviously gone through a lot of things and wasn't playing well there for a while, but when he gets going, he can shoot a low one.

Q. What is it that you see in his game that you like?

LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: He's a fighter really. You know, he doesn't get down on himself. He goes and just plays and whatever happens, he's focused on the next shot and the next hole. He's a great character.
