Q. How do you feel?

TRAE YOUNG: How do I feel? I feel better than last time. Let's just put it that way. We're showing growth. We're showing growth.

May have to take a break from this little event for a couple of years, come back and then take over that champ spot. Always got to keep getting better. Keep making progress.

Q. Was it more challenging the first time or the second?

TRAE YOUNG: The years? Oh, it's definitely more challenging this year. We had a lot of shooters this year. We had a lot of shooters last (time), but this year it was crazy. I mean, having to score 30 to win, that's pretty tough.

Q. The last rack it got kind of loud after you hit a lot on the first round. How did that feel?

TRAE YOUNG: Felt good. Icy. Quavo was right there, all of Migos, everybody that showed up. 2 Chainz showed love. It was great to have the city out here in Cleveland. Got a lot of people from the A out here representing. So I wish I would have won, but I'll see you all Sunday.

Q. First day down. What are you looking forward to for tomorrow?

TRAE YOUNG: I'm excited to go out there and put on a show. Feels good to be out here. I'm looking forward to just going out there and having fun.

Q. Dunk contest, who do you got?

TRAE YOUNG: Dunk contest, I'm going to watch Jalen Green.
