In Gee Chun

For Myers, Florida, USA

Crown Colony Golf & Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. In Gee, a bogey-free round today. Starting off with a birdie on No. 1, how did that feel?

IN GEE CHUN: Was great starting with a birdie, and then I'm so happy to made a bogey-free round today. Was quite windy out there, but I'm so proud I made it.

Q. And I remember last year one of your biggest goals was to try to go bogey-free as many times as possible. How satisfied are you working towards that kind of goal even right now?

IN GEE CHUN: Today was the first day bogey-free round in 2022, so I can looking forward. I can make more, as many, as much as I can this year.

Q. So we saw three more birdies on the back nine, especially one on that 18th. Take us through No. 18.

IN GEE CHUN: No. 18?

Q. Yes, we saw three more birdies on the last nine. Take us through the last one on 18.

IN GEE CHUN: I think back nine is harder than front nine, so I'm so happy to make up three birdies on the back nine.

Luckily we had helping wind on the 18, so if we had good tee shot and can try to get into the green. So I hit a good tee shot and I had a good second shot so it was a good chance to make a birdie around the green.

It worked really well, so...

Q. How comfortable have you been feeling in your game recently?

IN GEE CHUN: After had like winter break it feel a little different, but I think I'm still good position. And then I really enjoy working on my swing and I really enjoy play on the course again.

So everything is going well, so...

Q. Is that what you have been working on, your swing in the off-season? What is something you focused on heading into these Florida events?

IN GEE CHUN: I think golf is not a perfect game but we always try to make perfect, so like swing is kind of same. Trying to work hard to make like the perfect swing, but from the course we -- it's the scoring game, so my focus was more scoring game.

But then finish the tournament then I go back to work at the driving range, so I try to like keep fix my problem during downswing, so I think I'm almost there.

Q. Nice. And for you, there is only one more round left. This is a three-round tournament as opposed to usually the opening swings are four rounds. What's that like for you being able to know there is only one more round ahead tomorrow?

IN GEE CHUN: Honestly, not much different for me. It feel like just I have final round tomorrow. But I just want to try like everything on there. So just keep going, yeah.
