AUSTRALIAN OPEN

January 19, 2022

Qinwen Zheng

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Press Conference

M. SAKKARI/Q. Zheng

6-1, 6-4

THE MODERATOR: It was your first Australian Open. You did so well to get to the second round, but it wasn't the result you were hoping for tonight. What positives are you going to take away from this game?

QINWEN ZHENG: First, of course I hope I can go more far than that because I think I have the will to do.

But the positive things in this match is I see there is lots of things I should improve and also I wasn't doing good before the matches because I got a blister in the feet, but I didn't tell anyone. I just keep it for myself. So my coach doesn't know and for being more professional I think I should do better, not only on the court to play tennis, also to take care of my body to give hundred percent on court, yeah.
