Q. All right, here with Yuka Saso. Yuka, when is the last time you played in winds like these?
YUKA SASO: I don't know. I can't remember.
Q. What was it like getting ready for today's round?
YUKA SASO: Very tough. We kind of knew that it's going to be windy, but not this much.
So, yeah, it was fun. It was different golf. I really learned a lot, so, yeah, it is good.
Q. What were some of the highlights you took away from today's rounds heading into tomorrow?
YUKA SASO: My last hole, second shot was pretty good.
Q. How long were those?
YUKA SASO: Second shot was probably around 150. I hit an 8.
And then I had like 20 feet.
Q. I tend to remember back in Scotland in 2021 you working on your lower shots, not trying to get golf ball too high. Did you think about that today as well?
YUKA SASO: Yeah, I hit some really good low ones, but some shot I messed it up.
So, yeah, those experiences really helped me today. So, yeah, was really great.
Q. Celine Boutier had a 3-under round today and that happened bogey-free. Lowest round of the day. When you hear that number, knowing that's the lowest round of the day, how satisfied are you with yours?
YUKA SASO: I'm pretty satisfied with my game. I really struggled. Yeah, she's a really good player and I wish I played with her and learned something.
But, yeah, playing in this condition with bogey-free, I think you really need really good shots and good putts. Like I say, she's really good.
