THE MODERATOR: I know there's still a bit of watching and waiting, but how pleased are you with that display just now, Liam?

LIAM BROADY: Obviously we're now waiting on the other match, but we knew that might be the case, or would be the case coming in today.

But the boys did us proud. It was fantastic, obviously. Evo lit it up on the singles and the doubles court again. Norrs gave it everything out there and Fritz played a great match, and then they came into the doubles and were playing really good as well. I mean, we almost went down in the second set there and Jamie and Evo just fought their butts off and gave it everything they had for the team and for the flag and it's a great thing for the whole team to come through and give ourselves the best chance to get to the semis.

Q. Jamie, what was sort of the change in emotions like, obviously sort of coming down to the wire and then fighting back and then the way the match tiebreak went?

JAMIE MURRAY: Well, I think it was obviously a very difficult match. Those guys were serving rockets and really high percentage, so we weren't always like starting good to points, but we just had to keep our energy. I think the bench did a great job of that as well of keeping our spirits up and we knew like if we could get in the points we could use our skills to kind of win points.

Obviously to get that break back at 4-2 crazy point at deuce, gave us a big, put momentum in our favor and we finished the match really strong after that.

But, no, it was a really exciting day for the team, I think, and pumped to win and hopefully results square away tonight and we can get a chance to go out there again on Saturday.

Q. Dan, just how cool is that moment obviously when you guys come back and you're all celebrating and all of that?

DANIEL EVANS: Yeah. I mean, yeah, it's cool to do it with everybody else. The team, we're all close. It's great to come through. Listen, I enjoyed it two years ago and it's been exactly the same this year. It's been, whatever happens we've done great as a team, and as Jamie said, the bench, they were fired up and that gets us through. You know, without the bench sitting 4-2 it could be different. They kept our energy up and that's why it's a team event and we take pride in our bench, yeah.

Q. Dan, a few years ago you did really well over here when it was still in the early stages of your career. Firstly, what's it about this facility that you feel so comfortable with and is this probably the best start you've had to a year for a little while?

DANIEL EVANS: Oh, I'm pretty comfortable in Australia. It's similar to England, great place, feel, yeah, I feel at home here. I have a lot of friends in Australia, so I enjoy coming out, always good crowds, and it's good fun to compete out here.
