THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. Robin, how do you reflect on your time at the Davis Cup Finals? You said you wanted to advance to the knockout stages. Do you think you've shown the future of Swedish tennis?

ROBIN SODERLING: I mean, of course it's always tough to reflect straight after a tough loss.

But I think we won one match, but lost two. I think with a little bit of luck, of course, we could have beaten Kazakhstan and we could have played a deciding doubles today against probably if not the best one of the best teams in the world.

Of course, I wanted to go further. But if I look on all the matches, I'm proud of the boys. They did really well. They fought really hard. We lost some really tough matches. That's how it is.

We didn't have the luck on our side, but overall they did a fantastic, fantastic job.

Q. What do you say to Elias and Mikael now to use these defeats almost to kick on into next year?

ROBIN SODERLING: Yeah, but I think they both played two of the best players in the world. I think they're No. 2 and No. 5 or 6 in the world. Elias was extremely close. He was a little bit hesitant in the beginning. He didn't play his own game.

But from the middle of the second set he started to play more freely and started to believe he could win. When he plays like that, he's a much, much better player than what his ranking shows.

Mikael lost in two tough sets. Margins was not on his side. I think Daniil played well. Basically he won more of the really important points and he got a little bit more free points on his serve, of course. He's one of the best servers.

But it was close. It was really close.

Q. Mikael, in terms of Elias spoke about the two of you, you playing at No. 1, him as No. 2, that Sweden is a difficult team to beat now.

MIKAEL YMER: Yeah (smiling). I think so, too.

Q. Looking ahead to next year, I guess the goal is qualification for the Finals again, onwards and upwards.

MIKAEL YMER: Yes, I hope so. I think Robin said, it's tough to look past at the moment. I think when we calm down after dinner maybe tonight, I think we'll look back and say coming from where we are, it's a pretty good job to reach quarters. It's a bit of new stage for us also.

Now Robin said it as it was in Elias' match, I felt a little bit the same out there. It takes a little bit of time, at least for me personally, to believe. Hopefully next time you get a chance I will believe it a little bit earlier that certain things is more possible.

I look forward to next time. Hopefully we can get another chance next year.
