THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. Yuriy, just your overall thoughts on the day, a really impressive comeback? What's your reaction?

YURIY SCHUKIN: Well, it's definitely was a tough match. We were losing 1-0, was tough match. Mikhail lost, and then also Alex lost first set and it was like very close in the second set.

Basically I'm happy for my team that they could really, like Alex, get his rhythm. And with his serve, with his strokes, you know, and a good win, that match, this is I think give us a lot of confidence, you know.

Andrey and Aleksandr I think played really good level of doubles. That's why it was like I think the 6-3, 6-3, but it was like good level.

I'm happy for my team today. Hopefully we are gonna have rest this evening, and we will be ready for the next match tomorrow.

Q. What pleased you most about your performance? How difficult was it to have your first match in this competition be such an important pressure situation?

ANDREY GOLUBEV: Well, we knew in advance it would be a difficult match, especially Saturday, because we didn't play Thursday. You know, it's always better when you play a match and you have the rest and you're used to the courts, especially to step in on 1-All.

But I'm happy how we reacted. I think the body language was good from the first till last point, and energy on the court was really, really great. I mean, like really, I call it doubles energy, you know, this was the key of the match.

I think both of us, like, Aleks played really well. I helped him a little bit. But, yeah, this was the key for the success.

Q. Andrey, you have obviously been part of this team for a long time. If you beat Canada tomorrow, you'll be in the quarterfinals for the sixth time. What is it about the Davis Cup and Kazakhstan that goes so well together?

ANDREY GOLUBEV: For sure it's going to be great. That's obviously our goal every time we step in on court is to bring two points for the country.

Davis Cup, I think it's important for every country, especially for us in terms of development of tennis, attention of the tennis. Definitely better when you play at home. You know, with this format, it's not always possible.

But from our side, I can say that when we play we have 100% attention from the media, from the TV, in a way that every kid, every parent can see, can enjoy, can support us, and this will help the tennis structure, you know, to bring more kids, more people to the tennis, which is the goal, maybe main goal of our federation, no?

Q. How do you prepare for Canada tomorrow? How do you see that tie?

YURIY SCHUKIN: Well, we know the team. The thing is we don't know -- it's maybe they gonna change the players, because they have a few possibilities to change. We still don't know who we gonna play, but we are preparing mentally. And the guys are ready. So we play the first match. We know already the court. We feel the court.

I think it's going to be interesting tomorrow. We're gonna definitely give our best to win the match, yeah.
