Q. I'd like to know from Vedran if you expected to win 3-Love in the first day. I'm sure you were expecting them to win, but what about the others?

VEDRAN MARTIC: Actually, I don't expect anything before the match. I just expect that my players are fighting as good as possible, and then we shall see how it will be.

It was really good today, and I'm really happy all players played really well, and I'm so happy that we won today 3-0, yes.

Q. The two doubles players, what do you think is the best doubles team in this group apart from you? The Americans, which...

MATE PAVIC: The Americans.

Q. The Americans by far? More than Bolelli/Fognini? This is what you think?

MATE PAVIC: My opinion, yes. Colombia has a very good pair also.

NIKOLA MEKTIC: There are very good doubles teams in this other group. Colombia, we cannot forget about Colombia is one of the best teams in the world in the last couple of years.

Italians obviously are playing at home, very dangerous. Americans with Jack Sock or whoever, they can make two doubles teams there easy. Very good doubles teams.

MATE PAVIC: I think they have all good teams, but I think Americans also have the, you know, kind of the package, few players, everybody can play so you also don't know what to expect or who to expect, so they have a little flexibility to put whoever and they're still great.

NIKOLA MEKTIC: I answered politically like Vedran in the other question. (Laughter.)

Q. I wanted to ask you about Borna Gojo's performance today and made a mockery of the rankings, a 200 gap between himself and Alexei. Very tight match. What do you think? What were you telling him on the bench to keep him in the game? He said he felt like the lesser player in that first set but still won it.

VEDRAN MARTIC: I gave him a little bit of believe in himself. He's a really good player. This year he had a little bit problems with injuries, and he changed few coaches. But I think his ranking is not showing really his quality.

He's I think better player than is his ranking, so start of the year, he had match against Popyrin, and I think he had four match points.

Yeah, the ranking is not showing really situation, so I'm really happy that he won and now he starts to believe that he can improve his ranking. I hope that happen soon.
