WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 13, 2021

Rianne Malixi

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Quick Quotes

Q. You completed the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific at 4-under par. Could you tell us how the week has been for you?

RIANNE MALIXI: It's been really, really great. It's a great experience for me, especially for a 14-year-old like me. But there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Q. What areas of improvement will you be focusing on?

RIANNE MALIXI: On my mental aspect, I think that needs a lot of work. Maybe my iron play and putting would be a great help if it improved a lot.

Q. What will be your lasting memory of this championship?

RIANNE MALIXI: Seeing my friends again, being able to play with them again after two years of COVID. Then being able to play with all the national teams here. It's so great.

Q. What's next for you after this week?

RIANNE MALIXI: Tomorrow I'll be flying back to Florida. I have another event. I'm going to play in an AJGA tournament, the Rolex Tournament of Champions in Palm Beach.
