WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 12, 2021

Kelsey Bennett

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Quick Quotes

Q. Kelsey, thank you so much for joining us. 3-under par today, bogey-free. How are you feeling about that performance?

KELSEY BENNETT: Not too bad. It felt pretty good. It could have been a bit better, but not too bad.

Q. Obviously a lot of pars coming on that back nine. Was it frustrating at all not to be seeing some more birdie putts drop?

KELSEY BENNETT: Yes, very much so. I had a lot of opportunities and just could not get them to drop today. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day.

Q. Talk to us about the birdies, though. What were the memorable moments out there?

KELSEY BENNETT: I just holed those three birdies with some decent putting, which was good. I had three in a row, and then that was it. At least par trends aren't too bad.

Q. You put in some great performances over the past three days, and you're right at the top end of that leaderboard. How are you feeling heading into tomorrow?

KELSEY BENNETT: I'm feeling pretty good. I think I'd rather be a couple back heading into the last round rather than being in front. So I am looking forward to it.

Q. It does look like we have a leader who needs to be chased down. Is that something that you feel like you can do out there on this course?

KELSEY BENNETT: Yes, I think so. She's a very solid player. She played really well today. So it will be a bit of a challenge, but nothing I can't handle.
