WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

November 11, 2021

Ya-Chun Chang

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Quick Quotes

Q. Ya-Chun, thank you so much for joining us. 4-under in the second round of the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific, 5-under total. Are you happy with your performance so far?

YA-CHUN CHANG: Today, yes. Much better than yesterday. I just stuck with my plan. Doesn't think too much like I have to play well, just one shot, one step at a time.

Q. You had a number of birdies out on the course today. What do you feel like was the key moment in your round?

YA-CHUN CHANG: I think my approach shot was pretty good today. And my putting is getting much better.

Q. With the putting, what's going on? Is it just reading the lines on these greens? Is it your stroke? Or what?

YA-CHUN CHANG: I think it's both reading and strokes. More importantly my approach shot today was much better than yesterday.

Q. That's great. Now, a really nice round from you today and you've really moved up the leaderboard. Are you feeling confident heading into the final few rounds?

YA-CHUN CHANG: I just stuck with my plan and didn't worry about what others were doing. I just stuck with my game.
