BMW LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP

October 22, 2021

Na Rin An

Busan, South Korea

LPGA International Busan

Press Conference

Q. Na Rin, how are you feeling after your second day here?

NA RIN AN: So it was windier than yesterday from the morning, and it was cold. So I was expecting a tough round, but thankfully I was able to wrap up well.

Q. You had a string of pars in the beginning, and then on No. 6 and 7 you were able to birdie twice in a row. What worked well on those two holes?

NA RIN AN: So actually I did have some birdie chances in the beginning; however, I misread the break, and that led to some missed shots. However, in hole 6 and 7, I was to read the break well, and I think that worked well altogether.

Q. What did you say to yourself to rebound after the bogey there on No. 8 heading into your back nine?

NA RIN AN: I knew that I would have more birdie chances, so I just tried to keep steady and play well.

Q. You said earlier that it was windier than expected, but you knew it was going to be a tough day. How much does that factor into a course like this?

NA RIN AN: So from my own experience, when you feel the air getting colder, you know that somehow the wind will affect your play. And that makes it tough to score.

Q. For you, what is it like these past two days for you, and what will you take away from them as you head into the weekend?

NA RIN AN: So yesterday and today, I played as I wanted. And I will keep doing that and make sure that I do not lose my style.

Q. We talked a little bit yesterday about your dream of competing on the LPGA Tour and what a win here would do for you. I know right now, signed up for Q Series, but is it difficult to balance out that kind of thinking with "one shot at a time" here on the course?

NA RIN AN: Yes, so there's this part of my thinking, yes, I have to win so that I am qualified for the LPGA and go straight to LPGA.

On the other hand, I tried to focus on every single shot and every single hit. So at the end of the day I try to strike a balance between the two and just play solid.
