Q. Joined by So Yeon Ryu after a second round 70 at the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer. Two birdies on the scorecard. Only one bogey. Just kind of steady day out there. What made it steady and what made it maybe a little more challenging?
SO YEON RYU: Yeah, I think I was able to make more birdies but I think putting was not as good yesterday, so I think that's why I was only able to make two birdies.
And I think it was really windy, especially at the back nine, so it was really hard to judge the number.
And then I miss like few fairways on the back nine, too. So I think it's really about hit the fairway and get the right rhythm of the putting.
Q. Think you maybe saved some birdies for tomorrow?
SO YEON RYU: That's a positive way to thinking.
Q. I'm sure you've seen the leaderboard. You have two friends at the top sharing the lead with 18 holes to play. You know both of them very well. Are you in position only four back to where you can still give chase and think about a win, or you know them, is it too far out of reach knowing their games?
SO YEON RYU: Well, you know, they're definitely two of the toughest player, toughest competitor that I play against. At the same time, this is golf you never know how he's going to go.
I'm definitely going to do my best to win this game and then never give up.
Q. Is there some change in perception of how you see Seaview? Is the course different than you remember it? Are you finding it a little more likable?
SO YEON RYU: To be honest, I think I was always struggle with the super, super soft green here, and then this year the greens much firmer than last years, I guess.
That one made me feel a bit more comfortable with the putting. To be honest, I haven't had a really good finish at this golf course so hopefully this time I'm able to get my best finish at this golf course.
Q. What do you think it'll take from you tomorrow it climb the leaderboard and make a run?
SO YEON RYU: I think if it's not too windy I'm going to have plenty of chances to making birdies on the front nine.
So hopefully I'm going to take the birdie train and then just see how much I can push them.
