COLLIN MORIKAWA: It was a full team effort and everyone contributed and everyone put in their full efforts to make sure this week was going to play well. And obviously coming out on top feels really, really good.

Q. You've won major championships. How does winning here compare emotionally to that?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: It's a whole other feat. You can feel the fans. You really take that energy in. And obviously having a home crowd advantage was huge this week and using that momentum on our side.

Q. A word for Captain Stricker?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: The day I got to meet him, which was actually the practice round of the PGA Championship when I won at Harding Park, I knew he wanted to win. Everything was focused on how he was going to build a team of 12 and have six vice captains and make sure we're going to do our best, and he put all his efforts, he made sure to study what he needed to and very thankful. Without him, who knows how this week would have went.
